Jakgrosir Planned to Open in Koja Baru Market Before Ramadan

Jakarta BUMD, PD. Pasar Jaya, plans to open Jakgrosir at Koja Baru Market, Koja, North Jakarta, before this Ramadan.

PD. Pasar Jaya Director, Arief Nasrudin explained, Jakgrosir opening at Koja Baru Market is to follow up one of Jakarta Governor, Sandiaga Uno suggestions for his side to realize Jakgrosir in five other markets besides Kramat Jati Central Market, East Jakarta.

"We can use floor above Koja Baru Market for retail. We plan to realize it before Ramadan," he stated, Tuesday (4/17).

He admitted, Jakgrosir in Koja Baru Market is not as big as in Kramat Jati Central Market. But since his side can use two floors of the building, he considers it is enough to install display racks and storage.

He also said, area and facilities in Koja Market is adequate. Koja Baru Market management is also mentioned as the best in North Jakarta and it also get certification of the best market in Indonesia.

Koja Baru Market Head, Eko Purwanto informed, this market area has around 15,290 square meters wide with 8,936 square meters for its building area. Parking lot capacity for four-wheeled vehicles could reach to 146 units and 150 units for two-wheeled vehicles.

"On the first floor, we have 300 square meters building that hasn't optimized yet. It is still enough for retail," he explained.
